Asante Kotoko Clinch 26th GPL Title
On 2 June 2022, Kumasi Asante Kotoko clinched their 26th Ghana Premier League Title. The Porcupine Warriors drew 1-1 with Regional Rivals Ashanti Gold at Obuasi Len Clay Stadium.
Kotoko Needed only a point in their Ghana premier League game against Ashanti Gold to Win the GPL after 7 seasons with two games to play.
The Miners took the lead in the first half by kind courtesy Yaw Annor But Maxwell Agyemang grab the Equalizer for the Kumasi Based Club.
The Porcupine fans witness another special moment in the club’s history as the fans celebrated the title along with the playersat Obuasi.
