Asante Kotoko crowned GPL Champions after 3-0 victory over Sharks
Kumasi Asante Kotoko were crowned the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League Champions on Sunday with one games still to play, after beating Elmina Sharks 3-0.
The Porcupine Warriors secured the title about a week ago when they drew 1-1 at the Obuasi Len Clay stadium against Ashanti Gold Sporting Club, and have now been presented with the league trophy ahead of the last match of the season.
The champions, Asante Kotoko will now be Ghana’s representative in the CAF Champions League for the 2022/2023 season.
