Asian lady shot in in broad daylight robbery in Accra
According to reports, an Asian woman was shot during a robbery in broad daylight in the Accra neighborhood of Caprice.
A popular online video shows some bystanders assisting the shot woman in to the nearest hospital.
Her left arm was swollen and the sufferer was bleeding.
She had just been shot by armed robbers, according to one of the men who helped her.
They flagged down a passing commercial vehicle, assisted the woman inside, and gave the conductor instructions to drive her to the closest hospital.
The 4×4 Prado that the woman was driving is visible on the street with some of its windows broken.
The woman was also seen in the video being treated by a doctor in a hospital while being told to remain quiet.
The victim is said to be in stable condition by the Ghana Police Service as well.
The police announced that they had started an inquiry into the robbery event in a post that was shared on Facebook.
“The Police are pursuing a gang of armed robbers who attacked and shot a woman at Caprice in Accra today, 9th December, 2022.
“Special intelligence and operations teams have been deployed to trace and arrest the suspects involved; we will surely get them arrested to face justice,” parts of the post by the police read
