Barcelona complete the signing of Pablo Torre
FC Barcelona have officially completed the signing of Racing Santander midfield prodigy Pablo Torre, as has been announced on their social media.
The 18 year old first day in blaugrana as he signed his contract with FC Barcelona and got to wear his new shirt in the Camp Nou for the first time. He has signed a contract until 30 June 2026, with a buyout clause of 100 million euros.
Speaking to the club’s media, Torre spoke about how “happy and delighted” he is to have joined the Barça family. “Iniesta and Xavi were my boyhood heroes” he said. “I promise to give everything for this team.”
Pablo Torre was born in Soto de la Marina on 3 April 2003 (19 years), and joined the youth system at Racing Santander in 2015. He made his first team debut at that club on 18 October 2020 in a league fixture against Portugalete.
Last season he played 34 games and was a key reason for the team’s promotion to the second division. Pablo Torre scored ten goals in the Primera RFEF (group 1) and gave 11 assists in the regular season and playoffs and the Copa RFEF.
