GH¢500,000 Filing Fee For NDC Presidential Primaries Too Small – Aspiring Candidate;
The National Democratic Congress (NDCprospective )’s presidential candidate, businessman Ernest Kweku Kobeah, claims that the contest’s filing price of GH500,000 is chump change.
The politician based in United Kingdom thinks the sum was inadequate for a significant election like the one the party has set for May 13, 2023.
He urged that the party raise the amount in an interview with NyankontonMu Nsem on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm so that it can raise more money to support the 2024 elections.
He claims that he has spent more than a decade preparing for this chance to run as a candidate and represent the party.
”We have been in opposition for too long, and in my opinion, the filing fee should be increased so we will gather more money to run our campaign to defeat NPP in 2024. We need to build a new Ghana. If you are ready to represent the party as a candidate, you should be prepared to pay more than GH¢500,000.”
