In a recent interview in New York, Stonebwoy claims that Twi and Jamaican patois are related in various ways.

The most extensively used language in Ghana, Twi, has some similarities to the well-known Jaiamcan patois, according to Stonebwoy, who made the observation while in the Hot97 FM studios in the US.

Stonebwoy also brought up the Jamaican culture’s significant Ghanaian roots. Stonebwoy’s proficiency in patois, combined with his dedication and hard work, pushed him to the top of the international music industry.

The Ghanaian Dancehall singer turned the topic to his fifth studio album, which he promised will be thrilling, and teased his fans with the tantalizing foreign collaborations he had included on it.

“There are some heavy names on there. I don’t even know if I can even release it right now but I could drop it and I am going to drop it over here [in America].”

He revealed he has Reggae superstar Shaggy on the upcoming album. “Imagine Shaggy and Stonebwoy; imagine Stonebwoy and Angelique Kidjo; imagine Stonebwoy and Dexta Daps,” he enumerated. He then highlighted that the Dexta Daps collaboration will be “for the ladies.”

There are other artists on Stonebwoy’s fifth album besides those who are popular or commercially successful. The singer known by the stage name 1Gad claimed that, as an example, he had “niche market female artistes on there” because he has faith in the quality of the “product” that will result from their collaboration.

He stated that he wants something that is “organic” and not forced. He boasted, “We have some amazing stuff [on] there. “Be at ease,”

The numerous award-winning Ghanaian performer claimed that the album will highlight some Amapiano and Reggae sounds.

“We have Amapiano on there. Amapiano is actually the most popular style of music out of South Africa right now which is also weaving through the world. We’re merging it with the Afrobeats proper,” the father of two noted. I put [the] Dancehall flavour and my style over it as well.

In fact, the album features one of the biggest artistes and DJs from South Africa [called] Maporisa. You’re going to get a Reggae song on there. You’re going to get beautiful songs,” he promised.
