On the 13th Of December, 2020 Ghanaian Dancehall artist Stonebwoy posted a video of a demonstration which was held by the youth who supports the National Democratic Congress (NDC) due to the result of 2020 general elections with the caption:
“Ashaiman, My People Please all these ones Cannot Solve anything the politicains themselves know better what To do.Where our small power counts is to vote and we have done just that.Dont allow urself to be used by heart let’s KEEP THE PEACE. and Go about our hustle it Go better..”.
Following this tweet from Stonebwoy, a broadcaster journalist Kelvin Taylor told him to keep mute. Kelvin Taylor also said that the demonstration was peaceful and the youth had the right to protest.
He also recalled what happened at the 2019 VGMA awards.
