The most recent FIFA Rankings, which were issued on December 21, 2022, following the World Cup in Qatar, show a small improvement for Ghana.
In the global rankings, the Black Stars are now ranked 58th, up from 61st.
Their development may be linked to victories against Switzerland prior to the World Cup and then South Korea during the competition in Qatar.
Black Stars scored 1400 points, leaving them without a coach as Otto Addo left after their World Cup campaign was cut short.
The four-time African champions are now rated 11th in the continent.
Following Morocco’s outstanding performance in Qatar, they have risen to the 11th spot in the globe and have replaced Senegal as the top country in Africa.
They defeated Belgium, Canada, Spain, and Portugal their way to becoming the first African team to reach the World Cup semifinals.
The next year, Ghana will play again under a different head coach.
