Luis Campos has joined PSG as a football advisor
Former Monaco and Lille sporting director Luis Campos will start work as Paris Saint-Germain’s football advisor today.
The 57 year old comes in to replace former sporting director Leonardo and will focus on the ‘performance, recruitment, and organizational side of the men’s professional team’.
“I am delighted to be joining Paris Saint-Germain, which I consider is the most ambitious and exciting club in world football,” Campos told the official PSG website.
“I believe strongly in and share the vision of the Club and I cannot wait to get started to further unleash the great potential of this exceptional Club.”
The feeling is that Campos has his sights set on former Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane. Sources have confirmed that the Frenchman is in Qatar, home of the owners of PSG, although the purpose of his trip is not yet clear.
