Man City release former WAFA star Aminu Mohammed

English Premier League Champions Manchester City have released former West African Football Academy attacker Aminu Mohammed.

The English giants signed Mohammed in 2018 from Ghana Premier League side WAFA after his exploits at the FIFA U17 World Cup.
The 21 year old struggled to make an impression on loan at Dutch sides Dordtretch and Lommel.

he was released together with fellow Ghanaian Kwaku Oduroh, Fernandinho, Jayden Braaf and Rowen McDonald.
Mohammed fatally failed to meet expectations after showing promising prospects as a teenager.

The Promising star was sacked by Dutch side NAC Breda on a loan spell due to disciplinary issues and was unable to break into the first team of Belgian second-tier side Lommel SK on another loan deal.

Mohammed was part of the Ghana U17 team that reached the quarter finals of the FIFA U17 World Cup in 2017 in India.
