  John Mahama Plays Grandpa Role To First Granddaughter     After his son Shafik and wife Asma received their first child, John Mahama assumed the position of grandpa.   In a video he shared on social media, John Mahama first saw his  granddaughter's face.   In one video, John Mahama can be  seen rocking the baby they named  Alyazia Frema Mahama to sleep and then caressing her.   In another, the infant was being  cleaned up by Lordina Mahama while he was holding the child.   I'm happy for Shafik and Asma.  "Welcome, Alyazia Frema Mahama, my granddaughter," John Mahama  wrote.   The first kid of Shafik and his  Algerian wife, Asma, was born after  their two and a half year marriage.   Asma posted the good news on her  Instagram page on December 8,  2022.
