Tragic: Kumasi Fire Outbreak Kills Police Officer, Wife And Child;
A fire that destroyed the police barracks where he and his family lived and killed a police officer from the anti-robbery squad of the Ashanti Regional Police Command.
Along with the cop, his wife and child also passed away.
The family’s remains have been placed in the morgue.
Ernest Kwarteng, an assemblyman representing the Apromase/Asawase electoral district, told Citi News that they are waiting for the specialists to explain what started the fire.
Eyewitnesses report that a room in the house caught fire, killing a married man, his wife, and their daughter as we speak.
“They have been burnt and the body deposited at the morgue. The police came in but we are waiting for the experts to come in to tell us exactly what happened”, he said.
