Vincent Atingah gets Black Stars B call up
Medeama SC defender Vincent Atinga has been invited to the Black Stars ‘B’ team ahead of the Championship of Africa Nations (CHAN) qualifier against Benin.
The Ex-Hearts of Oak defender was initially left out of the first batch of players invited to camp to begin preparations for the game.
Atinga is currently rated as one of the best performing players in the Ghana Premier League.
The Black Stars ‘B’ will play Benin in the preliminary stage of the qualifiers in search of a ticket to the biennial competition scheduled for Algeria in January 2023.
Ghana have failed to qualify for the tournament in the last three editions and will hope to make another appearance this time around.
The Black Stars ‘B’ finished 2nd in 2009 and in 2014.
