DOL Zone Two: FC Samartex to be crowned Champions on Sunday

 

Division One outfit, FC Samartex 1996 would be crowned champions of Zone two on Sunday June 12 in Samreboi, Western Region.

The ‘Timber Giants’ have thus secured qualification to the Ghana Premier League (GPL) to compete in the 2022/2023 season after finishing as leaders of the zone.

They Accumulated 64 points from 29 matches played during the season and have 10 points gap with only 1 match remaining.

The Division One League Board and the leadership of the Association will be in attendance at the last home match to present the winners medals to the players and officials and also present them with the trophy.

FC Samartex has aimed to play in the Ghanaian top-flight league since the club was founded in 1996 and now that this has been achieved, they will look to build on this going forward.
