Legendary Ghanaian musician,Kojo Antwi

Legendary Ghanaian High-Life musician, Julius Kwadwo Antwi, also known as Kojo Antwi’s father, has died.
The artist known as Music Maestro lost his father, Openin Kwadwo Asiama Asubonten, on Monday, January 2, 2023, at the Police Hospital in Accra.

On social media, the artist confirmed his father’s death, noting that he was 104 years old.

According to the music Maestro, he cherished his father, hence his loss has hurt him deeply.

He believed every living thing would one day pass away, same as William Shakespeare mentioned in his Merchants of Vernice literary book “The World is like a stage where every man must play a part”.

On Friday, January 6, 2023, the music icon known as “Mr. Music Man” made the news via his social media outlets.

His father, Opanin Kwadwo Asiamah Asubonten, died on Monday, January 2, 2023, at the age of 104, according to the ‘Adiepena’ hitmaker.

Kojo Antwi made the news after writing a lengthy and heartfelt farewell statement to his late father.

In his address, he eulogizes his late father for everything he done for him and his family, emphasizing that he will be remembered now that he is no longer alive.
