Toyota driver slammed into a trailer and died instantly. 
On February 11, at around 10:30 p.m., a driver hit a trailer at Apimanim in the Ahanta West Municipal Assembly and was declared dead on the spot.
The Toyota car with the license plate GE 3040-12 allegedly struck the trailer’s driver’s car while it was moving at top speed according to the trailer driver.
“I took a break to urinate. The Toyota struck my vehicle as I was going to re-enter the road.
After the collision, a witness claimed to have overheard someone screaming for help.
“The driver was asking for help when I rushed over to the car. Sadly, he stopped, and I witnessed what seemed to be his final breath. The car contained just him. The vehicle was slanted on its side.
Soon after the wrecked Toyota car was overturned, assistance arrived from several Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) members from the Western Region who were returning from Jomoro on official business.
Since then, the dead driver’s body has been placed in the mortuary.
