At the National Democratic Congress Party’s office yesterday 4th December, 2020 at 4:00pm, the executive members of the above party and their parliamentary candidate had another Press Conference to address some certain matters arising in the constituency.
This is the second time the National Democratic Congress has met the press within this week as far as the number of days for 2020 election is gradually approaching.
Addressing the people of Assin North Constituency by the NDC Party’s campaign team leader Mr. Nartey said, the people of Assin North is capable of selecting the best for themselves in this year’s election.
Assin North Constituency will not base on what any other person from different Constituency says to vote. The people of Assin North known what is good for them and they have made a choice.
Responding to what Hon. Kennedy Agyapong said about our parliamentary candidate James Joe Quayson Junior, that he’s not a Ghanaian and so he doesn’t qualify to be a member of parliament in Assin North Constituency, we the NDC take anything he said as a political talk.
And that, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong’s main aim to comderm our party and our party’s parliamentary candidate, James Joe Quayson Junior has totally failed and we do not take anything he said serious.
We, the National Democratic Congress in Assin North Constituency therefore challenge Hon. Kennedy Agyapong and his NPP party in Assin North Constituency here to officially go through the process as the 1992 constitution of Ghana says, if truly they are sure that Hon. James Joe Quayson Junior is a Canadian citizen.
Kennedy Agyapong should stop making allegations and provide concrete evidence to support his words, Mr. Nartey added.
