Temporary officials recruited by the Electoral Commission to cover the 2020 Presidential and Parliamentary election are crying over the non-payment of their allowance.

According to these disgruntled workers, after three months of working for the Electoral Commission (EC), they are yet to receive their money.

These individuals have been going about on social media addressing the issue of non-payment and why the Electoral Commission boss Jean Mensa needs to do the needful by paying them their due.

Non-payment of officials who work for/with the EC is a phenomenon that sees workers wait for months and sometimes compelled to stage various protests before they are eventually paid.

These workers, aware of this phenomenon are calling on the EC to look in their direction and pay them for the work they did before, during and after the 2020 General election.
