Lady Arrested For Selling Her Baby To A Pastor For N10,000 (Ghc153)
Seun Oladayo is the name of the lady who gave birth to a baby girl and decided to sell her to a pastor for N10,000 because she didn’t know how she was going to cater for the baby.After she sold the baby to the pastor for N10,000 (GHc 153), the pastor reported the case to Amotekun.
The men of the Amotekun Corps in Ondo state have captured a 22-year-old young lady , Seun Oladayo, for selling her infant to a pastor for N10,000 (GHc 153). The new mum said she was unable to take care of her infant on the grounds that the dad of the child dumped her the day she revealed to him she was pregnant.
Talking about the crime she committed , the young lady said she requested that the minister should cater for her baby girl due to the fact that she didn’t have any resources to take care of her baby. No man gave it to me! She said: “I asked the Pastor to take the baby away and bring N10,000 because I don’t know how I am going to take care of the baby.”
The minister has said he did as the lady needed and hence detailed the case to Amotekun. As indicated by the minister, the infant was given to him in a sack with the placenta by the mother who was frantic to sell her infant. He recalled: “I was told to bring N10,000, so that they can give the doctor N5,000 for his job and I did because if I did not, another person would come and buy the baby. “I went to the Amotekun to report the woman and she was handed over to Police at Area Commander Yaba in Ondo West Local Government Area.”
