Vicky Zugah, a Ghanaian actress and TV presenter, has lost her mother following a five-year battle with an unidentified illness.
The actress, who has been heartbroken for a long time, announced the news on her Instagram page, calling it a “dark Monday.”
According to her, she was told not to talk about the illness on social media while they awaited a miracle and testimony.
She wrote an emotional homage to her mother, including a photo of the deceased and said she had given up on her and her siblings.
She admitted that the deceased has created a void that no one can replace.
Despite her grief, the actress claimed she will not doubt God and hoped that the deceased’s soul rest in peace.
She wrote: For five years you fought. For five years I waited for a miracle.
For five years you held on.
I was advised not to post or talk about your illness on social media till you heal completely so I waited Mum. I waited for that testimony.
Today you gave up on me and my siblings. Today you left a vacuum. A space no one can fill. I refuse to question God! Rest in heavenly peace mama.
I love you. I miss you already 😢
Following her post, a slew of admirers and followers flocked to the comments section to mourn with her.
