Personnels from the Ghana Police Service have raged the LGBTQI+ office inside Ashongman in the Kwabenya District to close it down.

This comes after the Kwabenya Traditional Council of Ga East in the Greater-Accra Region said they would burn down office supposedly used to have gatherings of the LGBTQI+ group.

Photos of the police at the premises of the LGBTQI office has began to circulate via online media as the office was been closed down.

In the interim, the primary office of the LGBTQI group in Tesano has been closed down after President Nana Addo ordered the Police to close it down.

This comes after an alliance comprised of the Christian Council and the Catholic Bishops Conference, the Muslim Community and the Traditional Rulers, condemned the establishment of the LGBTQI offices in Ghana.
