A 25 years old man planned his own kidnap  to avoid paying he owes.He owes this debt to a pharmaceutical company in Edo State, Nigeria.

As indicated by further investigations into this issue, the suspect, Chikezie Precious was  a salesperson with this pharmaceutical company three years ago.

The suspect supplies medications to most states in Southern Nigeria. A police report uncovered that Chikezie ran into a financial issue as he owed the company some amount of cash from from the drugs he sold.

The company was said they reached him to pay the debt he owed but  Chikezie went to hide himself and raised the alarm that he has been kidnapped on the road so the company will write off his debt. Further investigations shows that he made a plan on his way from Auchi to Agbo,Ido State. He left the company’s van along Ewohimi-Agbor road, left the keys on the driver’s seat  then  took a public transport to Benin City and lodged into a Hotel.

Reports show’s that Chikezie turned off his cell phones and requested his co-worker to call  his company’s management that he has been kidnapped by unknown gunmen. The management immediately reported this case the the nearest police station where the van was recovered.

Through technical means the police arrested Chikezie was in Benin city,where he wanted to take advantage of the high rate of kidnapping. The suspect, Chikezie Precious, disclosed to Standard Gazette’, that he was owning the company over N900k (which is about ₵12,700) and faked his kidnap  to check whether they could write off his debt.
