Nana Addo delivers congratulatory speech

The results of the presidential election in 2020 declared by the ec’s chairperson Mrs. Jane Mensah in favor of the New Patriotic Party and Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo-Addo as the President-elect of the Republic of Ghana.

Nana akufo-addo said his 2020 presidential election victory is to get the country back in shape.

According to him, the covid-19 pandemic has dealt the country’s economy and lives of its citizens a heavy blow which must be effectively dealt with.

He delivered his victory speech at his residence in Accra few minutes after announced by the returning officer of the presidential election the chairperson of the Electoral Commission of Ghana Mrs. Jane Mensah.

Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo-Addo said, Ghanaians voting for me in this year’s general elections shows that they have given me four more years to do more for them.

He started his speech by saying, this is the day that the Lord has made, let us all rejoice and be glad in it.

In our system, the constitutional responsibility of declaring the will of the people in an election is done by the EC chairperson. My fellow presidential candidates in the election on 7th December 2020, I thank them for helping to ensure that the race was exciting contest of ideas.

I give thanks to almighty God for his continued blessings upon my life and for how far he has brought me to since coming into office in 2017.

Four more years in office is the declaration made by the returning officer, I’m extremely grateful to you fellow Ghanaians for again by your show of confidence in me.

I will continue to work very hard to build a prosperous and progressive Ghana for which you have given to me and endorsement of the policies and programmes initiated by my government for the Ghanaians.

Campaigning is over and the outcome of the election has been decided, NPP and NDC must work together for the good of the country and everyone of us.

All Ghanaians must unite and stand shoulder to shoulder irrespective of the political party one belongs and work hard to place Ghana where she deserves.
