Redbird Reaches Agreement to Buy AC Milan
AC Milan have confirmed that RedBird capital have reached an agreement with the Elliott group to purchase the club this summer. Talks have been ongoing after the collapse of the proposed takeover by Bahrain based InvestCorp, leaving the way clear for RedBird to advance negotiations.
RedBird founder Gerry Cardinale was pictured in Milan in recent days, holding talks with Milan CEO Ivan Gazidis and club director Paolo Maldini.
Milan have now officially confirmed the takeover in a statement on the clubs official website:
