
Top Spanish clubs in race to sign Ghana defender Alexander Djiku
Black Stars Defender Alexander Djiku has popped up on the wishlist of Spanish Laliga outfits, Villarreal and Sevilla as a potential summer move target.
Villarreal and Sevilla have been watching out on the 27 year old and could take an action of luring his service in the next summer transfer window, reports UK top tabloid, SkySports.
The Laliga giants are sharp having surrender to losing Pau Torres while Sevillistas are likewise observing cautiously in light of the fact that, they expect something like one of Jules Kounde or Diego Carlos could also leave at the end of the campaign.
Djiku is of Ghanaian and French descent.[He debuted with the senior Ghana national team in a 3–0 friendly loss to Mali on 9 October 2020. He played his second match for Ghana against Qatar on 12 October 2020 in which he impressed.
Djiku’s third match came when he was given the opportunity by the Black Stars new head coach to start against Zimbabwe in a World Cup qualifier where Ghana won 3–1. He was part of Ghana’s team at the 2021 African Cup of Nations in Cameroon.
