A man loses his life after exchanging punches with a bus driver who is accused of defiling his daughter. 

A 47-year-old man lost his life after exchanging blows with a school bus driver who was accused of defiling his 7-year-old daughter.

The incident began when the deceased, a Nigerian named only as Frederick from Lagos, went to the school with his wife, who is now a widow, to discuss the allegation with the management.

SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the police department’s spokesman in Lagos State, verified the event and added that his team had started looking for the driver, Jacob, according to pulse.ng.

Frederick’s widow told the News Agency of Nigeria that her husband got angry and started fighting with the driver, which ultimately resulted in Frederick’s tragic death.

“On February 1, my daughter informed me that the driver of her school bus had been driving her to his residence in Ajuwon under the pretext that he wanted to drop something off there and that she should follow him.

“The driver would ask my daughter to sit on his lap when they arrived at the house, to raise her school uniform, and to kiss him on the mouth.

My husband immediately called the school to make a complaint and stated he was also reporting the allegation to the police when I informed him what our daughter had said on Monday, Feb. 6, she claimed.

When the couple brought their child to school, the school’s owner questioned the driver, who refuted the accusation of defilement.

My husband confronted the driver and shouted at him, visibly furious, asking why he had assaulted my daughter.

The driver pushed my husband’s chest during the fight after my husband had slapped him aggressively. He fell, and attempts to revive him failed.

The widow said, “We hurried him to a hospital, where he was confirmed dead.

Jacob reportedly ran away when Frederick passed out, and now police are looking for him to bring him to justice.
