WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT UEPEA 21 AWARDS
Upper East Peace & Entertainment Awards (UEPEA)2021 scheme had been constituted by UPPER EAST YOUTH FOR PEACE ( UEYP) to formally recognize and also appreciate the various humanitarian and peace building works being engaged by the Good people of Upper East Region especially among individuals, corporate institutions, MDA’s, NGO’s, CSO’s and other leading companies that contributed directly in the engagements of corporate social responsibilities as part of it’s fulfillment towards the peace building of our nation. This award scheme is entirely different from many other awards scheme’s organized in the Upper East Region. In that the UEPEA21 awards focus more on philosophy involvements among every Ghanaian, NGO’s, companies ( public and private), MDA’s among many others and that the nomination cuts across various sectors of the economy with active participation from the general public evaluation and assessments from the UEPEA awarding board.
We are therefore calling on the government of Ghana to support and to encourage such initiative and other leading stakeholders to be part and parcel of this national agenda in seeking to reward our heroes/heroines in a broader aspects in line with social contributions to the works of humanity.
The government of Ghana should improve on the living conditions of its people, and since the government cannot do it all alone, such an initiative will advance the course of social works among individuals, private and public institutions and other leading organizations to contribute and invest into our economy in fulfillment of sustainable developmental goals.
In line with this year’s celebration, the UEPEA21 awards night will be held in Bolgatanga on Saturday July 3, 2021 at Bolgatanga GNAT hall. The awarding board is also to make a courtesy call at some Chiefs palaces as well as Queen mothers to officially announce the constituted award scheme.
UEPEA21 is promising Ghanaians as well as the media to discharge it’s obligations with truth and honesty, fairness, compassion and sincerity which would be its hallmark for the various selection process, and this awards scheme will be discharged on credibility grounds on annually basis.
The chosen theme for this year’s UEPEA awards is “REWARDING CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY AND PEACE BUILDING “.
The UEPEA21 awards shall encourage every Ghanaian and institutions to give back to society in connection with what it deserves as its direct social contract with the entire Ghanaian people from home and abroad, and will be organized in every two (2) years.
The organizers of the awards scheme are calling on all concerned stakeholders to invest into this national event by way of collaborations, partnership and sponsorship in other to achieve its purpose for national development.
The UEPEA21 awards will be looking at the merit and the creditable contributions from fellow countrymen and women, companies, public and private institutions as well as agencies.
Filing for the various award categories is on going now and will end on May 5, 2021, UEPEA21 awarding board is therefore calling on all eligible persons to pick a nomination form to file for the various categories for the awards.
