There were many well-known people from all around the world present at the 65th Annual Grammy Awards event, including some musicians from Ghana.
Stonebwoy, the originator of Afro dancehall, gave Ghana’s presentation at the just ended 65th Grammys.
As people are increasingly moving and not just sitting, the talk of Ghanaian singers winning Grammys is progressively becoming a reality.
Stonebwoy made the right decision by attending the event on his own and without being a nominee since this will help him network and make the proper connections.
In videos that have gone viral, Stonebwoy was seen implementing his fellow colleagues Edem and KiDi, who was also present in the auditorium.
The suits worn by the Ghanaian artists were all professionally tailored.
Taylor Shift and other prominent celebrities, including Stonebwoy, were seen together on the red carpet.
The Ghanaian musician showed up to support his friends that evening.
Stonebwoy congratulated Kabaka Pyramid for winning the “Reggae Album” Grammy this year in his Instagram stories.
Prior to the Grammy Awards on Saturday, February 5, 2023, Stonebwoy also performed at the Grammy Museum.
At this weekend’s Grammys, the musician was seen alongside people including Fat Joe, Kirk Franklin, and Recording Academy CEO Harvey Mason Jr.
Meanwhile, Zakes Bantwini, Nomcebo Zikode, and Wouter Kellerman received the Best Global Music Performance prize for their collaborative work on “Bayethe,” defeating Rocky Dawuni in the process.
Akosua Dentaa Amoateng, the CEO of the GUBA Awards, was also present at this year’s Grammys.
