
Ghana’s President Akufo-Addo has addressed the nation on measures taken to curb the spread of coronavirus in Ghana in his 21st Presidential speech on Covid-19.
On a broadcast the president of the republic of Ghana, Nana Akufo Addo declared that upon much deliberation, the government will continue to provide free water supply and electricity to all Ghanaians free of charge from January to March 2021.
In 2020 when the coronavirus pandemic became unbearable, Nana Akufo Addo announced some relief packages for Ghanaians, some of which include free water and electricity of r Ghanaians to alleviate their plight during the partial lockdown in Ghana.
Meanwhile, tertiary Institutions in Ghana will reopen on January 9 for academic work. Also, pupils of the various Basic Schools are supposed to be back in school on January 15 whiles Form 2 and 3 Senior High Schools will reopen on January 18.
He will also be expected to give further details on the Covid-19 vaccine and when the country will receive its first supply.
